Fundraising
Personality Disorders CIC relies on community support, partnerships, and fundraising initiatives to expand the services we provide to carers and families affected by personality disorders. Every contribution helps us develop education, support tools, and learning resources that make a real difference to people facing extremely difficult situations.
Tango Libre – Community Dance Fundraiser
One of our most joyful fundraising initiatives is Tango Libre, a weekly community dance evening where music, movement, and connection help raise funds for an important cause. These Argentine tango sessions bring together dancers of all levels in a welcoming environment that combines beginner-friendly lessons with freestyle social dancing.
All funds raised through Tango Libre support Personality Disorders UK, helping us provide education, guidance, and support for carers of people living with Borderline Personality Disorder. Every step on the dance floor contributes directly to helping families who are often facing crisis situations with very little support.
For therapeutic reasons, carers attend and dance free of charge. This allows those who are under emotional strain to benefit from movement, music, and connection without financial pressure, while the wider event continues to raise funds for support services.
Learn More About Tango LibreCorporate Sponsorships
We are actively seeking partnerships with organisations that want to support mental health awareness and help families affected by personality disorders. Corporate sponsorship allows companies to contribute to a meaningful social cause while demonstrating their commitment to community wellbeing and mental health support.
We offer a range of partnership opportunities and sponsorship packages designed to create real impact while also providing visibility and engagement for supporting organisations. These packages can also be valuable for HR and people teams because they can include direct benefits for staff, such as discounted one-to-one support, online resources, and access to support groups.
This means a partnership can both strengthen your organisation’s social impact and contribute to staff wellbeing in a practical and meaningful way.

We are launching a fundraising campaign to raise £5,000 to directly support carers through the expansion of our online learning platform. The funds will allow us to update our Learning Management System (LMS) and add additional courses that provide carers with practical skills and guidance for managing difficult emotional situations at home.
This campaign will help us increase the number of learning resources available and ensure carers can access clearer, more practical information when supporting loved ones living with personality disorders.
The campaign will become active on 1st June, and every contribution will help us expand the support available to families across the UK.
